The initial plan is to set up in the Art Kite Field at the invitation of Frances Anderson, Field Director. The Eight Diamonds 1993 and Four Diamonds 1993 have been flown for extended periods in c16 - 19mph wind which is at the top end of the comfort zone for flying the RSS sails. In lighter wind the 1997/2015 1.5 Revolution sails have been flown alongside Eight Diamonds at Cervia.

It is hoped that either or both JMH kites can be flown for extended periods accompanied by Revolution Kites at 'sensible intervals'!

The scale of the RSS sails and Four Diamonds 1993 are a good match.

A decision regarding colour should be quite easy. The four red sails would be perfect!

The Flare 1988 and Four Diamonds 1995 have not been flown in higher wind but they should both work alongside the other 'long tail' kites.

All five 1991 Rokkaku kites have been reframed with SLE horizontals which make the kite more manageable in low winds but should also give them a realistic higher breeze capability not yet tested as at 11th August 2026!

The set of four smaller Rokkakus have not been re-framed but work well in low wind conditions alongside the 1992 Not Zens.

They have been flown stacked but are currently bridled individually. There are now two larger white lifter kites that could possibly be used in the right conditions!

We may use the white lifters for the 'night flight'!
