The JMH Four Diamonds kite was set up and launched. The recent amendments to the spar end external ferrules meant that assembly was straightforwards.

After an early incident when another flier was not paying close attention to the kite they were launching resulting in the JMH kite driving nose first into the ground the kite flew 'all day' in the gradually rising breeze which topped out at 19mph gusting somewhat higher.

The Revolution RSS sail was flown again in conditions that were towards the higher end of the fliers comfort zone.

A neighbouring flier was not attending to their increasingly unruly piloted stack soon after 3:00pm and after a couple of hits on the JMH flying line we decided to make a slightly early end to the flight. We had intended to carry on until 4:00pm but most of the other flyers were not comfortable with the windspeed and were bringing kites down anyway.
An orderly descent was planned with the intent to bring the bridle point upwind to the ground anchor before attempting to bring the kite to the ground.
Lower bridle lines were pulled in to bring the kite tail within reach and the kite was brought to the ground and then moved all the way out of the wind window before it was quickly dropped, bridle side to the ground and made safe.

Dismantling the spars was slightly problematic as some of the adhesive in the final spare extension ferrules had not set due possibly to being covered by airtight tape. A small matter but a bit challenging at the end of a long days flying...
